im starting a business and i want to know if there is a way to get people to know about my Business can you help me

I run a home-based business selling hand-painted self-stick murals for kid-friendly spaces. I have my own website and have placed an ad in my local newspaper. I plan on putting up some posters at some local community centres, libraries etc. Problem is… this is not that effective. I don’t have a lot of cash and am hoping that word of mouth will be my best form of advertising. Does anyone have any other ideas for getting the word out about my business? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Any more information as i have TRIED leaflets and it really doesnt work for me..
I have done leaflets through doors about 4000+ and not a single call… My leaflets are really well designed. www.techni-phobia.co.uk is my site and you can see we know how to design. I used “A.I.D.A” formula but its not going well.

I do a small business of musical antiques. dealing gramophones, gramophone records, valve[tube] radios.
vinyle records of 33 & 45 rpm. and 78 rpm wax records.
servicing record players, gramophones and tube radios are my speciality. wish to open a web site for assisting service of gramophone mechine to public. the diagrams and manuals are underway. is there any other simular site ?
